Warlander Invades Consoles: Crossplay Chaos Ensues!

The free-to-play battlefield is about to get crowded as Warlander launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with full crossplay capability

Alright, folks! Gather round, because Toylogic and PLAION have just unleashed the beast! That’s right, their smash-hit game Warlander is officially crashing into PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and we’re all invited to the party!

Hailed as a revolutionary fusion of hack-and-slash, shooter and strategy, Warlander is a multiplayer warfare game like no other. Fancy a bit of castle destruction with up to 99 of your mates? This game has you covered. And with full crossplay capabilities across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, it’s truly a free-for-all!

Choose your class – are you a fearless warrior, a crafty mage, or a holy cleric? Each brings its own unique playstyle into the battlefield. And did I mention the siege warfare? You’ve got catapults, siege towers, battering rams, and even cataclysmic idols which could turn the tide of battle in a heartbeat!

The game’s first season of content is set to kick off simultaneously across all platforms, promising new armour skins, weapons, emblems, titles and more. Plus, the devs assure us that regular patches, bug fixes and feature updates will keep things running smoother than a freshly greased trebuchet.

Yoichi Take, the Game Director and President of Toylogic, couldn’t be happier about the game’s reception. “Warlander launched on PC to wonderful response from fans and new soldiers alike,” he said. “The feedback and support we have received has gone beyond what we could have hoped for and we are thrilled to now bring both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S players into the fold through crossplay.”

So, if you’re ready to charge into the fray, Warlander is free to play right now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Steam. Go check out the official Warlander website for more details, or join the conversation on the game’s official Discord server.

Well, that’s all from me for now. But don’t let the conversation stop here! I want to hear all your thoughts on Warlander. Are you already a seasoned soldier, or a fresh-faced recruit? Who’s your favourite class to play? Share your experiences in the comments below or over in the Gaming.Buzz Community Discord. Let’s get this conversation started!
