QOL UPDATES
During Vermintide 2’s four year anniversary celebrations Fatshark have announced they are making several Quality of Life (QOL) upgrades to the game. Many of these upgrades have been inspired by the most used mods and the mod makers of these have been added to the the games credits, along with all mod authors and contributors of Sanctioned mods. We have listed out the ones mentioned ahead of the launch of Patch 4.6
UNIFIED UI
The first main update is a Cross-Platform unified UI, moving all players into a single UI allows the Fatshark team to implement new features with less load on modifying it to different platforms. The legacy UI has been left accessible in the PC version, but it will not receive any further support.
MELEE CAMERA MOVEMENT
Original Mod & Creator: No Wobble by SkacikPL
With the mod being used to reduce camera movement that some players found problematic this set of options allow you to modify how much the camera moves, with options going as far as allowing a Static Camera.
DETAILED UI
Original Mod & Creator: Numeric UI by Necrossin and -Milbor-
This mod allowed you to see more information on the UI. With options that showed teammates ammunition and their cooldown timers for Career skills.

KILL CONFIRM CROSSHAIR
Original Mod & Creator: Kill Confirm Crosshair by pixaal
A useful mod for when you are knee deep in enemies and want to see what you have killed without taking your eyes off the swarm, This mod added several indicators around the Crosshair that pinged when you made a kill, with different indicators showing what level of enemies you have killed.
FRIENDLY FIRE CROSSHAIR / HIT MARKER
Original mod & creator: Friendly Fire Indicator by NonzeroGeoduck7
The mod that instantly told you Sienna is “accidentally” missed with the fire staff… or when you just need to know why your health is going down while your blocking. This shows a indicator when you are damaged, and one when you damage allies.
EMOTES
With a new UI comes a new way to emote (Default set to “U” on PC) the emotes now set your character to 3rd Person Camera, making for a new way to capture screenshots of your character while posing!

MANAGE CAREER INVENTORY
Original mod & Creator: UI Improvements by grasmann
In the game sometimes you get a drop for another career and want to equip it but don’t want to switch careers and deal with the load times? This mod was a great answer to it, allowing you to see what’s equipped and update it, in the new UI you will see an option in the top right corner that allows you access. You can use this to update your AI bots equipment and skills too!

EQUIPPED ITEMS ON OTHER CAREERS
Original mod & Creator: Careers on Equipped Items by Triptych
Now you can see what characters are holding items, making it easier to see what one of the 18 other characters or careers are using the item your looking at.

PERSISTENT AMMO COUNTER
Original mod & Creator: Persistent Ammo Counter by prop joe
This mod presented the ammo counter even when you were holding a melee weapon, allowing you to check if you need that ammo pouch without weapon swapping.
BOT IMPROVEMENTS
This Update also brings some more improvements to the bots that you bring with you. Rather than them just using the last career that was used, you can now set what careers you want your bots to take. They have also improved pathfinding so you spend less time hauling them off the edge.
STREAMLINED WEAPON UPGRADES
A new window in the UI that allows you to see much more detail in your weapons, with more information on what the weapon does, what upgrading unlocks and better views of weapon illusions.

PLAYER RESPAWN IMPROVEMENTS
A long noted issue was that with some maps you could lose an ally and they respawn up the ledge that you just jumped off. Making that teammate have to sit out the rest of the run and leaving you a Man (Elf or Dwarf) down. This update now makes respawned allies appear ahead of the party.
DEEDS AND CHALLENGES
In this update there is a function to bulk claim Okri’s Challenges, saving you from digging through the book to find each one! You can also delete Deeds that you have gained that you don’t want to run.
SPECIAL ATTACK TOOLTIPS
Some weapons have a special attack (Like the Witch Hunter’s Rapier) these will now be mentioned in the item’s tooltips, in loading screens and when inspecting the item. Default key to use these is “V” but this is rebindable.
