You might remember Uragun from its early access days back in 2022. Well, it’s undergone a massive transformation, and the devs have spent over 12 months polishing it to perfection. The game’s structure has pivoted into a roguelite shooter, and they’ve thrown in a bunch of cool new features to boot, including new biomes, boss fights, enemies, upgrades, perks, and even customisable mech skins. That’s right, you can make your mech look as badass as you like!
In Uragun, you’ll take control of an adorable Mech unit that wakes up in a world dominated by corrupted AI. Your mission? To find your missing pilot buddy, while exploring stunning locations like a desolate Barcelona, industrialised Nairobi, snow-covered North American mines, and a futuristic Hong Kong. Along the way, you’ll research new skills, mod your Mech and its weapons, and become an unstoppable force.
But it’s not just the story that Kool2Play thinks will have you hyped! They say Uragun boasts top-notch shooting, controls, and gameplay, as well as hand-crafted levels designed for intense and tightly measured challenges. With the added replayability and customisation options, this is a game you’ll be coming back to time and time again.
Mariusz Leśniewski, head of studio at Kool2Play, said, “We know it may seem like we went under the radar for a while, but the truth is that we worked really hard to pivot Uragun into a roguelite. We are super happy to be back with the final product and share it now with you and our players as we think our game really shines now!”
And the cherry on top? Uragun will be available in multiple languages at launch, including Polish, English, Spanish, German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese Simplified, Japanese, Korean, and Turkish.
