Today, the Poland-based gaming studio, Ultaan Games, unveiled the Steam page for their latest venture – Claymores of the Lost Kingdom, a roguelike deckbuilder featuring an innovative blend of RPG progression. Set against the backdrop of a famine-stricken medieval fantasy world, the game promises to deliver an immersive and engaging gaming experience for all players.
A classless card progression system stands at the heart of Claymores of the Lost Kingdom. As players enhance their characters’ attributes – namely, Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Wisdom, and Intelligence – the game reveals new cards and play styles. This evolution encourages a diverse gaming experience, allowing players to sculpt their decks from over 300 unique cards based on 150 different keywords.
The gaming world is equally as impressive with an open-world map encompassing 99 locations, featuring procedurally generated side quests. These include engaging bounties and smuggling missions that add a further layer of depth to gameplay. With the threat of organised bandits raiding caravans and pillaging settlements, players must grow stronger to protect their domain.
