Famed MMORPG publisher Gameforge and indie developer Asylum Square have launched their much-anticipated 16-bit pixel platformer, Tiny Thor. Available now for Windows PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store, this small-scale epic is ready to enchant gamers with its retro-inspired visuals and captivating gameplay. Moreover, fans of handheld gaming will be delighted to hear that a Nintendo Switch version is on the horizon for later this summer.
In Tiny Thor, players assume the role of the young Asgardian deity, equipped with a mini-Mjölnir that ricochets off enemies and environments alike. The campaign, which offers between 10 to 20 hours of playtime, spans across 36 meticulously crafted levels. While the game is firmly rooted in old-school aesthetics, it does not shy away from implementing modern game mechanics, such as special abilities and unlockable challenge levels.
