Fairyship Games, a fifteen man US-based indie developer, is thrilled to announce the release of their highly anticipated action-adventure RPG, Testament: The Order of High Human. The game is set to launch on Steam and Epic Store today, with plans for future releases on Xbox and PlayStation.
In Testament: The Order of High Human, players will step into the shoes of Aran, the king of High humans in the land of Tessara. Betrayed by his brother, Arva, and stripped of his powers, Aran must reclaim his abilities and confront Arva to restore Tessara to its former glory. As players progress, they will upgrade their sword, bow, and magic abilities, shaping their own unique fighting style.
The game offers an immersive combat style with three different approaches, each offering its own distinct traits for players to specialize in. Master the art of swordplay with destructive and elemental combos, wield 16 magic abilities ranging from single-target spells to area of effect attacks, and utilize a magical bow with various arrow types. With a grand XP and upgrade system, players are encouraged to fully explore the vast lands and dungeons, discovering secrets and enhancing their abilities.
Testament: The Order of High Human also introduces the Eclipse System, a unique gameplay feature based on entities called eyes of darkness. This system offers three different mechanics that can be used independently or combined to create thrilling encounters and challenges. Additionally, a wide range of consumables can be crafted and utilized to alter the player’s health, mana, and surroundings, allowing for a personalized playstyle.
