Today, the narrative gaming maestro, Telltale, has unveiled the story trailer for their forthcoming interactive gem, The Expanse: A TellTale Series. The launch coincides with the opening of official pre-orders for the game, bringing anticipation to new heights.
On the back of a successful hands-on event in Los Angeles in mid-May, featuring gameplay footage, first impressions and interviews from the press and creators, the gaming community is buzzing with excitement. Guests had the opportunity to delve into The Expanse universe and gain insights from team members at Deck Nine Games and Telltale, including actress Cara Gee, who plays Camina Drummer.
“It’s been a long journey resurrecting such a beloved brand, but we are finally here and can’t wait to share our first new game,” said Jamie Ottilie, Telltale CEO. “We couldn’t be more proud of the work from the teams at Deck Nine and Telltale. We are thrilled to be back with new stories to tell!”
Set to debut on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation and Xbox on 27 July 2023, The Expanse: A TellTale Series will provide fans with an unprecedented episodic experience. To foster community engagement and anticipation, each of the following four episodes will be released fortnightly, offering players the opportunity to explore alternative choices between releases.

“With The Expanse: A Telltale Series, we wanted this to feel like a playable episode of the show with our favorite character Camina Drummer,” said Stephan Frost, the project’s game director. “Scavenging derelict ships, managing relationships with a tough crew, a mutiny, avoiding cutthroat space pirates, and a new zero g exploration gameplay has us very excited for players to get their hands on the game.”
Set before the events of Alcon Television Group’s critically acclaimed television series, players will step into the shoes of Camina Drummer, the Executive Officer of a scavenger crew seeking a mysterious treasure in The Belt. With a new level of immersive exploration in any Telltale game to date, players will tackle shipwrecks, utilise Zero-G thrusters, and make tough decisions that will shape the fate of The Artemis crew.

So there you have it, spacefarers! A new journey awaits you on the edges of The Belt. And now, over to you.
