Studio workforce at Quantic Dream increased by 50% in 2021

Quantic Dream, the studio known for such games as Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit: Become Human, has reported record financial results for the third consecutive year.

The studio’s medium-defining titles have showcased world-class talents including David Bowie, Ellen Page, Willem Dafoe, Hans Zimmer and Jesse Williams. Quantic Dream has developed brand new, proprietary technologies its creation to better tell their narrative rich stories with the support of millions of gamers around the world.

Guillaume de Fondaumière, General Manager, has announced in their latest press release that Quantic Dream have experienced “results beyond expectations, as well as a significant increase of more than 50% in our workforce” during 2021.

Monsieur de Fondaumière went on to say “Our very good financial results are explained by the robust sales of our back catalog titles, and in particular Detroit: Become Human.”

Detroit: Become Human surpassed one million sales on Steam during 2021, ensuring its place as Quantic Dream’s most successful IP in history, with 6.5 million copies sold on both PS4 and PC combined.

Heavy Rain

With their record financial results, Quantic Dream have taken the initiative to open a second recruitment cycle at both their Paris and Montreal offices.

Sophie Buhl, Production Director of Quantic Dream explains,
