The team is thrilled to announce that their latest masterpiece, Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse, is now available to wishlist on Steam! This new title is being developed by their in-house wizards at Frontside 180 Studio. And yes, it’s as spellbinding as it sounds.
Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse is a delicious blend of Metroidvania and Roguelite genres. Each playthrough will take you on an exciting new adventure through ever-changing, randomly generated dungeons. Each step forward (or downward, as it is with dungeons) is a challenge, filled with obstacles, enemies, and, of course, fearsome bosses.
What sets this game apart is its hat-based possession system. You, as a player, can control your foes, allowing you to devise creative strategies for battle. But remember, it’s not all about brawns; the game encourages tactical playthroughs with the help of persistent character growth via building and crafting.
Did we mention it’s not a solo journey? That’s right, Never Grave features multiplayer functionality, letting up to four players explore the mysterious dungeons together. The more the merrier, as they say!

Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse is an enchanting Metroidvania x Roguelite, where the key to progress lies in a cursed hat. You’ll encounter magic, enemies to possess, and a chance to rebuild a ruined village using materials you’ve collected in your dungeon journeys. Not only will you be battling foes, but you’ll also be rebuilding, cultivating, and creating – preparing for the battles that lie ahead.
The dungeons you’ll delve into are not your run-of-the-mill ones; they shift and change every time you play. Ruins, botanical gardens, obstacles, and puzzles – each playthrough is a whole new adventure. The game truly encapsulates the spirit of a hand-drawn, richly painted picture book world, allowing players to immerse themselves in an artistically profound gaming experience.
The game is currently available for PC on Steam, with other platforms yet to be announced.
