Stellaris: Galactic Paragons – A New Expansion to Rule the Galactic Council
Paradox Interactive has done it again with their new expansion, Stellaris: Galactic Paragons. This latest expansion adds a new level of depth to the game, allowing players to customise and fine-tune their leaders to guide their empire to greatness and it’s just launched today (May 9, 2023).
The Galactic Council is now bigger and better than ever before with Galactic Paragons. Players can invest in their leaders and guide them to become powerful paragons that can amplify their empire’s vision. With new council roles and benefits, players can unlock additional positions as their empire evolves, adding a new level of customisation to the game.
Stellaris: Galactic Paragons offers players new dynamic leaders, with the ability to recruit, improve, and follow the leaders of their empire through the ages. Players can pick the traits of their leaders, select their veteran class, and guide them towards their destiny, up until they retire or perish. There are even Galactic Heroes available to join your council, with their own unique art, events, and stories, bringing their own benefits to your government.
The expansion offers two new Tradition Trees, giving players new edicts and improved leaders, along with hundreds of new Leader Traits, and 12 new Veteran Classes. There are also eight new Civics focused on leadership, from immortalizing the personalities of leaders past in digital archives to heavily optimizing council selection via corporate charter. Additionally, new ships, art, and story content have been added, making this expansion one of the biggest and best yet.
Alongside Galactic Paragons, two multiplayer game modes are now available in open beta: Cooperative PvE and Competitive PvP. Cooperative PvE allows players to join together as a single empire to take on enemy empires. This presents a great opportunity for players to teach their friends how to play the game or divide the responsibilities of empire management for a more relaxed gaming experience. On the other hand, cooperative PvP allows groups of players to join opposing empires to fight against each other, offering a new level of competitive multiplayer gameplay.
All Stellaris players will also receive the free 3.8 ‘Gemini’ from the Stellaris custodians team, which includes a tremendous number of Quality of Life updates.
