Sorcery and Strategy Collide as Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus Welcomes the Thousand Sons
It’s time to dust off your power armour and ready your bolters as the cosmos of Warhammer 40,000 expands yet again. In an announcement hotter than a melta gun, Tacticus has unveiled the Sorcerous Wrath of the Thousand Sons, coming to your favourite mobile Warhammer title this June. That’s right, the XVth Legion is marching onto the battlefield, and they’re bringing with them a storm of warp energy that Snowprint Studios says is going to blow your socks off!
For those not yet indoctrinated into the lore of Warhammer 40,000, the Thousand Sons are a legion of Chaos Space Marines, sworn to the service of Tzeentch, the Chaos God of Change. They’re led by Magnus the Red, the daemon primarch himself, and specialise in wielding the chaotic forces of the warp. The legion’s introduction comes as part of the Skulls showcase and marks the game’s thirteenth playable faction.
The news comes straight from Berlin, where Snowprint Studios announced the Thousand Sons will be squaring off against the vengeful Aeldari. An epic new campaign awaits, fighting for the control of an ancient craftworld. High-stakes indeed!
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus has proven itself to be a formidable contender in the mobile gaming arena. With over 2 million commanders already leading their armies amongst the stars, it’s a testament to the game’s accessibility, constant updates, and immersive content. The game maintains a strong 4.5 out of 5-star rating, and with 13 playable factions and over 50 champions, it’s not hard to see why.
Whether you’re a seasoned veteran of the Warhammer universe or a new recruit, Tacticus makes it easy to join the fight. You can quickly start conquering the war-torn battlefields, form a guild with mates around the globe, or pit your skills against others in intense player vs player (PvP) battles. Whether you fight for the forces of order or join the chaos, there’s a place for you in the stars.
