Get ready for a smurf-tacular ride on PlayStation and Xbox – the beloved blue creatures are hitting the race tracks!”

Greetings, game aficionados! We’ve got a smurf-load of news that’s sure to smurf you away. It’s official – Smurfs Kart is making its way to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on August 22nd, 2023! Publisher Microids and Smurfs license holder IMPS broke the news just yesterday, and we’re excited to share the deets with you.

The Smurfs are turning the ripe old age of 65 this year, but these blue folks show no signs of slowing down. Known for their fun adventures in the forest, they’re now ready to put the pedal to the metal. Developed by the folks over at Eden Games, who’ve earned their racing stripes with Gear.Club Unlimited, Test Drive Unlimited, and V-Rally, Smurfs Kart is all set to take your gaming console by storm. And, hey, it’s already doing the rounds on Nintendo Switch!

In this all-new Smurfs Kart, it’s not just about speeding past the finish line – it’s about having a smurfin’ good time while you’re at it. You can race as your favourite Smurf – Papa, Smurfette, Handy, Hefty, Jokey… you name it, they’ve got it. Each Smurf comes with their own unique kart and a super power that’s as individual as they are. You can take shortcuts, master your Smurf’s super powers, and use bonuses to rise through the ranks. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, everyone’s got a chance to win.

The game comes with 12 race tracks inspired by iconic locations in the Smurfs’ universe – from their charming village to Gargamel’s gloomy house. You can play solo or make it a family affair with up to four players in split-screen local multiplayer. And if you’re up for a challenge, try the “Time Challenge” mode where you aim to be the fastest Smurf on the track.

Now, we’re sure you’re as excited as we are about this game! To keep you in the loop, make sure to follow Smurfs and Microids on their social media channels and their websites. And why not check out their YouTube for the gameplay trailer?
