Resident Evil 4 Remake Is Out Now

CAPCOM released their remake of the classic genre-defining horror action game Resident Evil 4, originally released in 2005. The reimagined version is now available for PC, PlayStation 4/5, PlayStation®4, and XboxSeries X|S.

Resident Evil 4 offers a new gameplay experience by modernising gameplay, exploring a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics through the RE Engine.

Join Leon S. Kennedy six years after his hellish experiences in Raccoon City. He was recruited as an agent for the president of the United States. Leon is dispatched to rescue the president’s recently kidnapped daughter, Ashley Graham. Leon follows her traces to a secluded European village, where he discovers horrors beyond reason that grip the local populace.

In addition to adding nuance to the characters and relationships within Resident Evil 4, the infected Ganado have new ways to attack, chase, and outflank Leon. In order to walk the razor thin line between survival and a grim fate, Leon’s arsenal of weapons and close combat maneuvers now include stealth, the ability to parry enemy attacks, and delivering finishing blows with his knife. The changes to gameplay also bring an added emphasis on more meaningful player choice.
