Requisition VR: Physics-Based Zombie-Slaying Co-Op Game Leaves Early Access

Craft Your Ultimate Zombie-Slaying Weapon and Join the Fight in Requisition VR!

Get ready to team up with your friends and face off against hordes of zombies in Requisition VR, the latest offering from indie VR game development studio Arcadia VR. After six months in Early Access, Requisition VR is now officially releasing on Steam today (May 4, 2023).

Developers Arcadia VR say Requisition VR is a first-of-its-kind physics-based co-op game that takes zombie-slaying to the next level. The game features a unique crafting system that allows you to use duct tape to link any objects together to create a one-of-a-kind weapon. You can experiment with crafting and connecting any unthinkable combinations, such as a katana and a circular saw, or an axe and a ball. Inspired by the likes of Dead Rising and Walking Dead: S&S, Requisition VR is the perfect game for anyone who loves killing zombies in style.

One of the highlights of Requisition VR is the different set of maps, including the largest map in VR, which promises to keep players engaged and excited for hours on end. The game can be played in both solo and multiplayer modes, making it the perfect choice for those who prefer to play alone or with friends.

During the six months of development since the game’s Early Access launch in October, the developers say they’ve made significant improvements to the game including 15 updates, redesigned the melee combat and gunplay, implemented a zombie stub mechanic, improved the crafting system, and added new enemies. The survival mode with an open-world-ish map, three new maps in other game modes, and a mechanic for breaking locks on doors with crowbar, drill, and firearms were also added to the game.

Requisition VR is priced at $29.99/£24.99 or local equivalent on Steam and includes four game modes: Story Mode, PvP, Horde Mode, and Survival Mode. With over 500 items to use in crafting weapons, a physic-based multiplayer system, and the ability to barricade your house, make traps and bombs, Requisition VR aims to offer an immersive and thrilling gaming experience.
