We’ve got some rather exciting news for you today, hot off the press. The gang behind Realm Architect has been making quite the stir in the world of tabletop RPGs, and it’s easy to see why.
Realm Architect is the up-and-coming immersive world-building Virtual Tabletop (VTT) that’s set to revolutionise your gaming experience. Funded in a whirlwind 48 hours and now at over 450% of its goal, the Kickstarter campaign is hitting stretch goal after stretch goal. You could say that they’ve rolled a natural 20!
The game is touted as an innovative VTT solution with an intuitive and user-friendly interface, designed to lessen the burden on our unsung heroes, the Game Masters. It promises to completely transform the way you craft and participate in TTRPG campaigns, making it simpler than ever to construct entire Realms. Just think of it, no more agonising over the smallest details.
Our generous RPG community has already helped Realm Architect smash two stretch goals. This means that our beloved VTT will be making its way to Linux, Android, and iOS. And the fun doesn’t stop there. The first of many thematic updates, the (In)Sanity update, introduces a Lovecraftian theme to tantalise fans of cosmic horror. The next stretch goal? We’re going interstellar, folks!
Jeff Cannata, of Dungeon Run fame, has designed a free, playable One-Shot, exclusively for backers. This intriguing little bonus was filmed in the charming surroundings of Thornbury Castle and is available for all to watch on YouTube. A stellar showcase of Realm Architect’s capabilities, if we do say so ourselves.
And who’s that providing the dulcet tones for the Kickstarter trailer? That would be the one and only Becca Scott from Geek & Sundry and Good Times Society. Another impressive endorsement for this burgeoning project.

Realm Architect is designed to empower players and creators in the TTRPG space, providing an easy-to-use platform to help you craft the most gripping stories ever told. It’s all about drag and drop, codices at the click of a button, and automated systems that track everything from player HP to status effects. They even have ready-made content for you to adventure through. The goal? To make TTRPGs more accessible to all, from the grizzled veterans to the greenest of newbies.
Jeff Cannata himself seems mightily impressed with Realm Architect. Have a gander at his glowing reviews on YouTube, in which he discusses his experiences with the tool.
