Today, Ubisoft announced that the first new map in over three years goes live.

Emerald Plains, a very fancy country club and surrounding grounds, is found in the rolling hills of Northern Ireland, and spares no expense in the lavishness and opulence. Three wide stairwells providing access across two floors of long sightlines, a huge glass roofed section, and a large, densely filled set of grounds outside.
Each section of the new map has been designed with ease of orientation and recognition of locations. Clear callouts, as they always have been, will be a necessity in winning.
Players can wage war in Emerald Plains as part of the Year 7, Season 1 – Demon Veil. New Operator Azami will also be available as of this time, with their new gadget, the Kiba Barrier, a tool for repairing battle damage in walls, floors, and other cover.
Ubisoft say that Year 7 will bring more new maps, additional cross-play and cross-progression. Ubisoft say they will continue their efforts to encourage positive player behaviour with a new reputation system and some new and permanent game modes including Team Deathmatch, This, and many more updates soon to come. We’ll keep our eyes peeled and let you know as soon as they land.
