Imagine this: sunrise over the Amberstone, dew on the freshly ploughed fields, and the crow of chickens just waking up – yes, chickens! These feathered additions are just one of the exciting new features in this upgrade.
Farming Simulator 23 brings you more of the agricultural exploits you love, with added complexities that take your virtual farming to the next level. Ever fancied operating authentic machinery from big names like Case IH, CLAAS, John Deere, and more? Well, now you can, with over 100 digitised machines to choose from. You’re truly spoilt for choice as you engage in relaxing and rewarding activities involving agriculture, animal husbandry, and forestry.
The environment is a stunner, too, with two new visually changing maps based on seasons – Amberstone and Neubrunn. Each is littered with collectibles just waiting to be discovered as you mosey on through.
As for the agricultural side, you’re looking at a crop list that has extended to a grand total of 14. Added to your usual rotation are grapes, olives, and sorghum. New gameplay mechanics have also been introduced, including ploughing, weeding, and the integration of production chains. You can now produce valuable goods, for instance, turning harvested wheat into flour, which can then be baked into bread or pastries at the local bakery.
And about the chickens we mentioned earlier, they’re not just for show. You can collect eggs from these clucking companions and use them in your new production chains. It’s truly a step-up in the world of mobile farming simulations.
