Oddworld: Soulstorm is a story of hope and belief, even in the face of insurmountable, unbeatable odds. Mudokons, like our dear friend and hero Abe, have been enslaved by a profiteering class. Prized for their strength, the tasty meat on their bones, and just how susceptible they are to the Soulstorm Brew, Mudokons are the perfect slaves.
The time for change, however, has come. The time for a revolution is now. Picking up right after New ‘n’ Tasty’s epic adventure, you will be called upon to help Abe on his quest to free more than 1,000 of his fellow Mudokons from the chains that bind them.
To confront an uncertain future and a long forgotten past, you will have to use every instinct and skill at your disposal to help Abe in his quest. Armed with an array of tactics, from sneaky stealth, to going EXTREMELY loud by crafting powerful incendiary weaponry from scavenged trash, you’ll need to decide how best to bring the fight to the evil overlords and save as many Mudokon as you can.
Decisions made throughout the game, and the total number of Mudokon you save each level will impact Soulstorm’s outcome. With 4 unique endings to choose from, your actions do have consequence. Whether you’ll unlock the final two chapters and the best ending, or one of the others? Well, that’s up to you and Abe.
