After the success of the free-to-play game Professional Fishing on Steam, MasterCode are going to release a second installment of the series in early access in September 2023. A console release on PlayStation and Xbox is planned for 2024.
The main features of Professional Fishing 2 are a realistic fishing experience with both singleplayer and multiplayer modes available. Players will be able to explore various fishing grounds, different tasks to complete, survival and hunting elements, and the ability to switch between first person and third person perspectives.
The free demo of Professional Fishing 2, which is available from the 12th of July 2023, contains the Forest Lake location, in which players can fish in a large lake in the woods to catch the following fish: roach, European perch, bleak, crucian, bream, and pike. Some of the tasks and fishing equipment from the full release will be available in the demo to give players a taste of the features to come.
While multiplayer modes are not included in the demo, players can view leaderboards where they can compare their achievements.
The demo is not time-limited.
