As a passionate gamer, there are few things more exciting than hearing about fresh additions to a beloved game. The latest news from Toplitz Productions and Render Cube brings just that – a tantalising glimpse of their first new feature for co-op gameplay, ‘The Oxbow’ map, for their critically acclaimed life-simulation, crafting, and town management survival game – Medieval Dynasty.
In a sneak peek video released today, June 13th, 2023, from their base in Oberhaching, Germany, the publishers hinted at a new in-game location. At the heart of this location is a circular wooden palisade settlement – a typical feature of the protective communities seen during medieval times.
The Oxbow promises to transport both co-op and solo players of Medieval Dynasty into a new realm of adventure. Among the host of fresh additions are new characters, captivating landmarks, and bustling villages, including Piastovia, the main village in this new content. Here, players will be thrust into a vibrant world where residents work at various stations, chopping wood at the lumberjack station, churning butter, and even taking care of routine tasks like hanging out laundry.
The game’s makers are keen to reassure players that all new quests in this update can be engaged with either in the co-op mode or as a solo player, providing flexibility and accessibility to all players.
“With Medieval Dynasty we’re fully committed to providing players with more ways to play, and expanding on the overall player experience. The Co-op mode including the Oxbow map is one of the largest and most exciting content updates to be added to the game since the games launch and we can’t wait for players to explore it”, says Damian Szymański, CEO of Render Cube
