Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Announced

Six years after the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse Studios is pleased to announce a true sequel to the critically acclaimed medieval role-playing game.

Experienced players and newcomers alike can enjoy a journey to a world closely inspired by 15th century Bohemia. Join Henry, who grew up as the son of a blacksmith, in his quest to achieve vengeance for the murder of his parents while finding a new sense of family and self. The kingdom is torn by civil war and it is up to you which role Henry will play in tumultuous times.

In the trailer, we can hear about the ideas that drove the development of this game directly from the developers and actors.

The game features two new maps, which amount to double the size of the first game in the series. In the world, we can find charming rural sites in Bohemia and a busy urban environment in Kuttenberg. All locations were closely modelled based on historical buildings and the landscape in the area.

The combat system in KCD II will be reworked and improved with many new features to suit multiple combat styles. Choose to engage in elegant swordplay, powerful ranged attacks with bows or crossbows or opt for a more modern way of fighting with early gunpowder weapons.

Players can enjoy over 5 hours of immersive cutscenes and atmospheric music composed by Jan Valta in this immersive RPG experience. Henry can take multiple paths according to the player’s wishes and evolve as a character on his journey. The townsfolk will react to his behaviour with an innovative crime system, and your actions will have consequences. The world is lively, with people following their own schedule and engaging in various tasks throughout the day.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is scheduled to be available to play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later in 2024.
