New Maps
Also making its debut are two richly-detailed maps, Driel and El Alamein, inspired by real historical events. From small villages and farmlands of the Netherlands to the vast, coverless desert landscapes, you’ll have fresh grounds to conquer and tactics to devise.
Driel

The new Driel map offers an intriguing backdrop for Hell Let Loose players, steeped in the historical echoes of Operation Market Garden. Players are thrown into the heart of the Netherlands, navigating through quaint villages and sprawling farmlands as they vie for territorial control. The beautifully-rendered landscape, peppered with windmills and canals, offers a strategic blend of urban and open combat areas, challenging your tactical skills. This isn’t just another battlefield – it’s a living, breathing corner of history, teeming with tension and alive with the spirit of a pivotal World War II operation.

El Alamein

The El Alamein map plunges Hell Let Loose players into a dramatically different combat experience. Inspired by the epic desert battles of World War II, this map presents an awe-inspiring and vast desert landscape where battles rage across open terrain. Cover is sparse, and the relentless sun beats down on the sandy expanses, creating a uniquely challenging environment. Mastering this battlefield will require every ounce of your strategic cunning as you manoeuvre under the bare sky, using the sparse dunes and scattered debris for precious cover. It’s a stunning, brutal stage for warfare that truly tests your mettle as a soldier.

Thinking about those who might have communication limitations, Team17 Digital has also added non-verbal communication tools. Whether you’re without a microphone or choose not to use one, you can still be part of the action, making crucial calls on the frontline. The radial wheel now offers 15 communication options spread across four main categories.
This Update 14 is undoubtedly one of the largest content drops in the history of Hell Let Loose, and it’s totally free for all players. So, suit up, dive in, and experience the immersive, large-scale battles that this incredible first-person shooter has to offer!
And that’s all for now, folks! Now, it’s time for our gaming community to light up. We’d love to hear your thoughts on this update. How excited are you about the British Forces addition?
