Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, the much-anticipated prequel to the bone-chilling Daymare: 1998, is about to take us on an all-new heart-pounding, nerve-shredding adventure.
That’s right, this delightfully terrifying third-person, story-driven survival horror game is opening up its crypt doors with a new gameplay demo, come this Thursday, May 11, 2023. And, if that’s not enough to get you screaming in excitement, the full game is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One on August 30, 2023. Mark it on your calendars, folks!
Developed by the genius minds over at the Italian team, Invader Studios, Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle thrusts players into the boots of special agent Dalila Reyes. A former government spy turned H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search) operative, Dalila’s mission starts simple enough: infiltrate the most advanced experimental research centre in the good ol’ US of A. But, as we all know, nothing is ever as simple as it seems in Daymare universe, is it?
The demo is set to give us a tantalising peek at what the game holds in store, revealing the initial steps of the game story, a detailed preview of the game’s mechanics and graphics, and a taste of the combat model. Fancy trying out the frosty cool, liquid nitrogen-enhanced Frost Grip? Well, you’re in luck, because that’s part of the package too!
And here’s the cherry on top: The devs want your feedback! They’re keen to hear your suggestions and opinions, which they’ll take into consideration for the final version of the game. So, think of this demo as your chance to make your mark on the Daymare universe. Leonardo Interactive, in their quest to meet and exceed the community’s high expectations, decided to shift the final game release to August, to ensure that every detail is just right.
