Gentle Giant Reveals Launch Trailer for ‘Spiritfall’ Ahead of Early Access Launch

2D Action Roguelite & Platform Fighter Hybrid Coming To Steam Soon

Gentle Giant Games has released the launch trailer for their upcoming title, Spiritfall. The game, which combines 2D Action Roguelite with Platform Fighter elements, is set to hit Steam Early Access on April 3rd.

Spiritfall features a beautiful hand-drawn art style and powerful atmospheric music that immerses players in a world overrun by blight. As the Omenforged, a warrior chosen by Divine Spirits, players will battle against a range of enemies and use an ever-changing arsenal of powers to defeat them.

The game offers a unique blend of features, including randomized run generation and permadeath, with persistent progression through an evolving storyline. This means that players will be able to enjoy the intricate characteristics of Rogue-like games, while still making progress and unlocking new skills.

Players will also have the opportunity to meet a variety of interesting characters on their journey, some of whom may assist them in their quest, while others may prove to be less friendly.

The Divine Spirits offer powerful blessings that enhance players’ abilities in combat. They can experiment with unique builds and discover their favourite abilities to take down enemies.

In addition to battling against enemies, players will also have to forge, wield, and enchant a variety of weapons that can be improved by in-run performance. And if they do fall in battle, death is only a temporary setback. Players will reawaken stronger than before at the Sanctum and use gathered resources to upgrade their skills and unlock unique charms before continuing their adventure.

The launch trailer for Spiritfall showcases the game’s beautiful graphics and engaging gameplay, providing gamers with a glimpse of what they can expect when it launches on Early Access. With its unique blend of features and engaging storyline, Spiritfall is sure to be a hit with gamers who enjoy action-packed, story-driven games.
