Hey there fellow game enthusiasts, buckle up because we’re diving head-first into the gory realm of nightmares. No need to pinch yourself awake, this is a dream come true for the adrenaline junkies out there. We’ve got the scoop on the much-awaited game, Nightmare Reaper by Feardemic, now live on all consoles.
Nightmare Reaper, a name that tingles the spine and quickens the pulse, is a fast-paced and ferocious retro FPS with looter shooter and roguelite mechanics. Already a star on Steam with close to 3000 glowing reviews, this little monster of a game has set its sights on your beloved consoles: PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Blazing Bit Games, Nightmare Reaper is stuffed to the brim with action. It draws inspiration from the 2.5D first-person shooters of yore, while throwing in a juicy mix of modern looter shooters and roguelite elements. Expect a storm of enemies, a flood of blood, and geysers of treasure in the open-ended levels, which will keep you engrossed and on your toes.
Remember the joy of leveling up your game character? Nightmare Reaper gives you the same adrenaline rush. Use the gold you find to ramp up your character with exciting upgrades and new abilities. And did we mention the 80 unique weapons? Yes, you read it right, 80! Each comes with a chance of over 30 enchantment types. But there’s more, a lot more. The soundtrack is by none other than Andrew Hulshult, whose explosive work you might recognise from Doom Eternal and Quake Champions.
