For those among you who prefer console gaming, fear not! PS4, PS5, and PSVR2 versions are in the works, so you won’t be left out of this astonishing adventure.

Firmament caught the eye of more than 18,000 backers on Kickstarter, amassing a whopping $1.4 million USD. Why? Well, there’s a lot to love about this new title. As you dive into its fantastical steampunk world, you’re met with a sensory feast of captivating sights and intricate puzzles. You are armed with a unique device, the “Adjunct”, your main tool for interacting with the environment and solving the game’s mysteries.

The story? Prepare for a deep-dive into the unknown. Firmament is not a deserted place. You are accompanied by a spectral entity with her own tales to share. As you venture deeper, you’ll encounter three different Realms, each bursting with secrets begging to be unveiled.

Mysterious machines and unfathomable purpose fill the game, and the suspense is tangible. The realms may seem abandoned, but what is their true purpose? What part do you play in this grand enigma? Well, you’ll have to play to find out.

On the technical side, Firmament is equipped for both 2D and VR play. The VR experience includes Free Roam and Teleport modes and supports Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Rift S, and Quest 2 via Oculus Link. And for those of you who value their comfort, Cyan have integrated a number of features to ensure you can play with absolute ease.

As for the music, Firmament’s soundtrack is composed by Maclaine Diemer, a gaming industry veteran with over 14 years of experience under his belt. His music adds another layer of depth to this immersive experience.
