We’ve received some fantastic news hot off the press from Nuverse and Pathea Games. They’ve pulled back the curtain on “Project ME”, a brand new game experience in development for the well-loved MY TIME universe. If you’ve found joy and solace in MY TIME games like My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock, we’ve got a feeling this announcement will be right up your alley.
Cosy Gameplay, Expansive New World
“Project ME” is set in the familiar post-apocalyptic world of MY TIME, brimming with rich lore and a diverse cast of characters. It’s an open-world simulation RPG that promises a comfortable, inviting vibe, along with a larger map that features a refreshing oasis landscape ripe for exploration.
As the governor of a new settlement, players will manage not just their home, but the entire town as well. In a heartening nod to community and collaboration, there will also be co-op features allowing you to visit and help other players build their towns. Can’t you just feel the sense of camaraderie in the air?

What’s on the Game Menu?
The folks behind “Project ME” are planning a treasure trove of exciting features for players. From open world exploration, building and management simulation, to a mysterious storyline and in-depth interactions with NPCs, there’s plenty on offer. Plus, they’ve also baked in the idea of player-driven experiences – whether you’re playing solo or getting social in multiplayer mode, the game experience will be shaped by the community of players. Now that’s an ecosystem we’re excited to dive into!

The Team Behind the Magic
Aaron Deng, the Vice President of Pathea Games, expressed his delight over the collaboration with Nuverse “We are delighted to collaborate with Nuverse on this new project” . While “Project ME” is being brought to life by a new independent team, he assured that the progress of “My Time at Sandrock” will not be affected. It’s a win-win situation, really!
Our team is dedicated to expanding the ‘My Time’ IP as well as committed to sharing the joyful and memorable experiences of our existing titles with a broader audience. However, it is important to note that ‘Project ME’ has a new independent team outside of our “My Time at Sandrock” development team, ensuring that “My Time at Sandrock” progress towards the Sandrock launch remains unaffected.”

Test the Waters with the Alpha Playable Build
If you’re already itching to give “Project ME” a spin, you’re in luck. The game has officially opened playtest signups on their website, with applications rolling in until June 20th. “In the last closed playtest held in Project ME’s official discord, we’ve built a positive community and ever-growing relationship with our players, and we saw a flood of in-game screenshot shares that gave us confidence our fans loved the aesthetics and landscape sceneries but also the town management feature, which is brand new”, said Keanu Ye, publishing director for Project ME. It’s clear the fans are loving what they see!
