In an exciting announcement from Oslo, Norway, the creators of Conan Exiles – Funcom – have proclaimed the arrival of their newest feature-rich update, ‘Age of War, Chapter 1’. This free update lands alongside a fresh Battle Pass, rich with cosmetic rewards, and kickstarts what is set to be an enthralling tripartite adventure.
The ‘Age of War’ brings a legion of intriguing enhancements and gameplay elements to the mystical Exiled Lands. One of the standout features is the ability for clans to represent their unity with custom emblems. These symbols of allegiance can be brandished on shields and banners, marking your clan’s presence to all.
Along with this fresh visual update, players can also embark on daring quests to amass valuable treasures, destined for display in their respective vaults. The combined effects of improvements to stamina, enemy interactions, and combat mechanics make for a significantly enhanced gameplay experience. The thrill of battling for survival in Conan Exiles has never been more gratifying.
The ‘Age of War’ represents the first of three anticipated updates, all of which will be free. Funcom also unveiled a Battle Pass and Bazaar Item store brimming with enticing cosmetic upgrades that can be purchased separately. These include new styles of building pieces, armour, weapons, pets, mounts, and a wealth of other aesthetic enhancements.
Funcom has also teased several forthcoming features for Chapters Two and Three. These include improved and expanded purges, the ability to recruit mercenaries, advanced enemy AI, and a PvE raid against the formidable Stygian invaders. More surprises are hinted to be on the horizon.
To mark the launch of ‘Age of War’, Conan Exiles is inviting gamers to participate in a free play weekend across various platforms including Steam, PlayStation, Xbox *, and the Epic Games Store *.
