Chivalry 2 Invades PS Plus and Brings the Raiding Party Update with a Bang!
Hear Ye knights and nobles, brace yourselves for the latest Chivalry 2 news! Your days of clashing swords, swinging maces, and slinging arrows are about to get even more epic. Torn Banner Studios and Tripwire Presents have just announced that Chivalry 2 is now available for PS Plus members during the month of May. So, if you haven’t yet tried this stunning medieval battlefield, now’s your chance!
But that’s not all, folks! Today also marks the launch of the Raiding Party Update, a major content expansion for Chivalry 2 on all supported platforms. The update introduces a brand-new Team Objective Map, “The Sacking of Bridgetown,” the Heavy Cavalry Sword, the “Raiding Party” Campaign Pass, and much more! And, to top it all off, the long-awaited Cross Party feature has finally entered beta, meaning you can now team up with your mates across different platforms. Huzzah!
In “The Sacking of Bridgetown,” you’ll join 63 other players in a massive battle that pits Agathian defenders against invading Tenosians. The invaders will attempt to torch the countryside, crash an Agathian wine festival, and toss nobles off a bridge, while the defenders struggle to hold their ground. Sounds like a proper medieval ruckus, eh?
With the Heavy Cavalry Sword, Footman Man-at-Arms and Knight Guardian classes can now lead the charge both on foot and horseback. This versatile weapon boasts long reach, slow swings, and unique slash attacks that vary depending on whether you’re mounted or on foot.
As for the “Raiding Party” Campaign Pass, it brings a slew of new challenges and customisation unlocks, including fresh armour, imperfections, facepaint, heraldry, and weapons. And, starting May 19th, you can look forward to the limited-time “Mounted Arena” mode, where players can prove their worth in 1v1 PvP jousts on Tournament Grounds with randomised weapons.
Now, it’s your turn to weigh in! What do you think of Chivalry 2’s Raiding Party Update? Are you excited about the Cross Party feature and new content? Let us know in the comments below, or join the discussion on the Gaming.Buzz Community Discord. Let’s get this medieval party started!
