After six years in development, the third title in the Baldur’s Gate series is out now on PC. More than 20 years after the release of Baldur’s Gate 2, the developers of the popular Divinity games have created a unique, huge and epic world in the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The scope of Baldur’s Gate 3 is yet to be matched in the genre of modern RPGs.
Return to the Forgotten Realms and form your party from a choice of 12 classes and 11 races from the D&D universe. If you do not wish to craft your own character, you can pick from the pre-made Origin characters with their own traits and backstory. Players can start their adventure solo or play online with a party up to four players.
As you enter the world of Baldur’s Gate 3, you will find yourself entangled in a conflict between devils, gods, and other supernatural forces. Your choices will shape the way the story is told. Characters can explore, loot, engage in combat and romances in the Forgotten Realms.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been in Early Access for many years, and a lot of effort has gone into improving the game based on player feedback.
The console version of the game will be released on the 3rd of September (PS5 Digital Deluxe) or on the 6th of September (PS5). Additional platform support is yet to get a release date.
