If you’ve been as eagerly awaiting updates on your favourite beekeeping simulator as we have, we’ve got some sweet news for you: The highly anticipated update to APICO 2.0 – “I Can’t Beelieve It’s Not Butter(flies)!” is now available for Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation. What a time to be a gamer and a bee lover!
Our friends over at Whitethorn Games and TNgineers have been busy bees indeed, as this update is simply brimming with a hive-full of new content. We’re talking new pollinators, fresh characters to meet, and so much more. Let’s dive in, shall we?
First up, we’re welcoming some new faces – Cody and Sto, all the way from the mainland, are joining us on the APICO Islands, looking to push the boundaries of their research. Get ready to learn a thing or two from these curious newcomers.
But what’s this? Butterflies too? You heard it right, folks! You can now discover, collect, and breed a plethora of brand-new pollinators. And speaking of newbies, we’ve also got solitary bees joining the party. These little pollinators are real introverts, preferring to keep to themselves. Craft new solitary bee hotels to make them feel right at home!
You know what they say – variety is the spice of life, and APICO 2.0 is certainly embracing that philosophy. We’ve got a delightful range of new flowers to keep our pollinator population cheery and thriving. Plus, the addition of incense and candles means you can add some serious ambience to your environment.
If you’re a fan of the chill tunes in APICO, we’ve got more good news – there are brand new tracks being added to the soundtrack. Let’s not forget the new books, decorations, and a whole host of quality-of-life improvements that will certainly keep you buzzing!
