It’s time for another update from the land of digital delights. It’s all about locomotives and logistics today, as publisher Kalypso Media have paired up with publishing house BILDNER Verlag to roll out a comprehensive suite of official game guides for the eagerly anticipated Railway Empire 2.
Railway Empire 2, developed by Gaming Minds Studios, is set to chug along the platforms of PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4|5, and eventually Nintendo Switch™ this year. It’s a railway management simulator that will ignite the train-obsessed child in all of us, inviting us to master the art of railways across expansive maps and scenarios.
Kalypso Media and BILDNER Verlag are delivering not one, not two, but three game guides to help you make the most of your Railway Empire 2 experience. Now, these aren’t your standard, run-of-the-mill guides. BILDNER Verlag specialises in educational content for video games and hobbies, so we’re talking detailed, high-quality guides full of tips, tricks and comprehensive tutorials.
Here’s what the Railway Empire 2: The Official Game Guides set is serving up:
- The Official Compendium – This is your go-to guide for core gameplay, helping you get your railway empire off the ground or even learn some nifty tricks for your next playthrough.
- The Official Engine Catalogue – Feast your eyes on detailed images and information on the 60 historically accurate locomotives found in-game. Trust us, this guide will have you chuffed to bits!
- The Official Mission Guide – Providing walkthroughs and suggestions for the 14 scenarios, along with a detailed campaign map spanning Europe and America.
The guides will be released alongside the game on the 25th of May and are priced at £5.49 each, or you can nab the bundle for a sweet deal at £13.99. You’ll be able to purchase these from Steam, the BILDNER Verlag website, and e-book retailers. Physical editions of the books will be available from June if you fancy a tangible piece of this railway romp.
The guides and the game itself are the latest offerings from the Kalypso Media Group, an independent publisher, developer and marketer of interactive entertainment software. Their portfolio is chock-a-block with strategy and simulation games for a global audience on multiple platforms.
