The world of virtual reality gaming is about to become a lot cleaner, as the much-loved PowerWash Simulator VR prepares to make its mark on Meta Quest 2 in 2023. Announced at today’s Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, the move marks a landmark moment in the world of VR gaming, providing players with an even more immersive and interactive dirt-busting experience.
The UK-based game studio, FuturLab, known for creating captivating games like Velocity 2X, Tiny Trax, Mini-Mech Mayhem, and Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, has teamed up with the world-renowned VR game developers, nDreams. This power duo brings to the table the collective experience of successful titles such as Phantom: Covert Ops and the highly anticipated Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord.
PowerWash Simulator VR is set to enhance the already satisfying process of power washing, thanks to its precise 1:1 control system, making even the dirtiest jobs a pleasure. Now players can physically interact with their virtual environment to reach those stubborn dirt spots, or they can sit back, relax and enjoy the super-soothing simulator, washing their troubles away.
“PowerWash Simulator has always been about putting relaxation and satisfaction into the hands of the players. Now with PowerWash Simulator VR we are pleased to be able to make this happen not only figuratively, but literally!” said Chris Mehers, COO at FuturLab. “A VR version of the game has been highly requested by the community since early on in development, so we are excited to finally be able to announce this news.”

“Working with FuturLab to bring such a popular IP to VR has been a blast,” said David Corless, VP of Publishing at nDreams. “PowerWash Simulator naturally lends itself to what VR does best – immersion, interaction and fictional teleportation. We can’t wait for the Quest audience to experience the pure joy of PowerWash Simulator VR for themselves”
For those eager to immerse themselves in the world of virtual power washing, PowerWash Simulator VR is now available to be wishlisted on the Meta Quest Store.

FuturLab promises more exciting news on PowerWash Simulator VR soon. As for nDreams, they are poised for even greater leaps in the world of VR gaming, backed by a $35 million investment from the Aonic Group and we’ll keep you posted with all the latest news as we hear it.
